Step by Step Recipe:
At first, we will combine the ingredients needed for lemon sauce.
Step 1: We will start with taking 2-3 lemons.
Step 2: The next thing needed is any type of grater to zester. But if there is no way to get it, then we will replace it by removing the zest from a lemon with a knife by ourselves. Carefully use the knife to cut away the zest in large sections. The main thing to keep in mind is to cut lemon in a way by trying to avoid the white pith. Because we only want 'lemon zest' and not the 'white pith'. The 1 medium lemon = 1 tablespoon of lemon zest.
Step 3: The next thing we want is 1 table spoon of sugar.
Step 4: Then 1 tablespoon of white vinegar.
Step 5: Next, 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
Step 6: 1 tablespoon of honey.
Step 7: 1/2 table spoon of custard powder.
From step 3 to step 7 add all of the ingredients on the lemon zest and mix them thoroughly. Now that we are done with preparing the material for lemon sauce, we will move on to the chicken fry section.
Step 8: Take 1 lb of chicken breast, which can be around 400-500 g. Now carefully use the back of your knife to lightly pound the chicken breast on one side; doing this can alleviate and lessen the meat so it can be chewed better.
Step 9: Add up some salt to it for the taste.
Step 10: Adding black pepper is completely optional according to your taste.
Step 11: 1 table spoon of custard powder.
Step 12: Egg is often used to stick the ingredients together. So, using 1 egg is preferred.
Step 13: Marinate the chicken in 1/2 cup of corn starch just like as shown in image below:
Step 14: Now, after adding all these ingredients, fry the chicken at 200°C (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Keep an eye on the dish you are making. When the chicken gets a light golden yellowish color, then we will move onto the final step.
Step 15: Pour some already prepared lemon juice or zest in the hot pan and stir it continuously until it gets boiled. As it boils, the lemon zest or juice becomes thick and can now be labeled as lemon sauce.
Final Step: The dish is being prepared, and now, right before serving the lemonade chicken, drizzle some lemon sauce over the chicken.
