Ingredients:

Short-grain rice.

Step-by-step Recipe: 

Step 1: In the beginning, we will wash the rice and then rinse it into the cold water. 

Now, we will combine various ingredients. 

Step 2: Take a bowl and add already rinsed rice to it. 

Step 3: Next, we will add a total of 4 cups of whole milk. 

Step 4: Add 1-2 egg yolks. 

Step 5: Add 1 cup of heavy cream. 

Step 6: Add 1/2 cup of sugar to it. 

Step 7: Add an approximate 1/4 teaspoon of salt. 

Step 8: As the needed ingredients have been added, we will just stir them so they can mix thoroughly.

Step 9: Transfer the mixture from the bowl to a pan. Then place the pan onto the medium-heat stove.

Step 10: Stir the mixture in such a way that the rice does not stick to the base of the pan; also keep in 
mind to stir it until the mixture is heated and is kind of thicky. This roughly takes about 20–25 minutes to properly cook over medium heat. When the mixture is ready, remove it from the flame. 

Step 11: Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract; this helps in creating the creamy goodness of the dish. 

Step 12: Add in 1/2 teaspoon of the ground cinnamon. 

Then we only need to mix all the ingredients together, making it as simple as possible. 

Step 13: Transfer the mix to a baking sheet or bowl, whichever you find convenient to use. 

Step 14: Then keep it in a preheated oven at 165 degrees Celsius (329 degrees Fahrenheit) for around 
30-40 minutes. 

Step 15: After the above-mentioned time, get the mixture out and check whether the pudding is set and the color of the top is brownish; if yes, then get it out, else wait for roughly another 5 minutes.

Step 16: Now cool the pudding for few minutes.

Final Step: If there are any toppings needed, then you can do so; otherwise, the dish is ready to be served warm or chilled (your preference).
