Note: There is one thing to keep in mind: the amount of ingredients added in the recipe below subjects to the amount of flour and beef. If you are taking a small amount of flour or beef in making their respective portions in the recipe, you might need to adjust your other ingredients as well.

Ingredients:

Flour.
Egg.
Salt.
Cooking oil.
Ground beef.
Onion.
Garlic.
Ground coriander.
Butter, soy sauce (optional).

Step-by-step recipe:

At first, we will prepare a dough.

Step 1: Get a bowl. Add 500 grams of flour to it. The amount of flour needed to make a dough is up to you, but keep in mind if the flour is less than 500 g, then add the ingredients according to the suitable quantity.

Step 2: Add 1 teaspoon of salt to it.

Step 3: Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to it. This is added just to get the dough together.

Step 4: Add 1 egg.

Step 5: Add 1 cup of cold water. This subjects to the flour being not too sticky as well as not too dry.

Step 6: Now, mix all the ingredients present in the bowl and make sure that the dough is neither too sticky nor too dry.

Step 7: Wrap the dough in your preferred and suitable cover (it can be a plastic wrap or whatever) and then put it aside for about 30 minutes so that it becomes smooth.

Now we will move onto the next section to prepare the filling for pelmeni.

Step 8: Take another bowl. Add around 450 grams of ground beef into it.

Step 9: Add 1 chopped onion in it.

Step 10: Add 2 cloves of garlic paste, or it can be minced.

Step 11: Add 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of salt, adjusting based on your preference.

Step 12: Next, mix in 1/4 teaspoon of ground coriander.

Step 13: Then, incorporate 2 to 3 teaspoons of cold water. For added flavor and moisture, you can also include some beef broth in the filling.

Step 14: Now, mix the filling and make sure it is not too wet. Sticky filling is preferable. Put it into the refrigerator so that it cools down a bit.

Now, moving on to the section of making pelmeni-shaped dumplings.

Step 15: Remove the dough and roll it out until it reaches the right thickness.

Step 16: Cut out several circles from the dough using a round cutter.

Step 17: Spoon 1 teaspoon of beef filling onto each circle.

Step 18: Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, ensuring the edges are sealed tightly to keep the filling inside.

Step 19: Pinch the two ends of the half-moon together to form a rounded shape, resembling traditional pelmeni.

Now, we’re ready to cook our pelmeni-shaped dumplings.

Step 20: Take a large pot. Add some water and a pinch of salt to it. Salt is added so that the pelmeni is cooked in salted water.

Step 21: You can also add beef broth into the pot. Now let the water be boiled.

Step 22: Put down the pelmeni into the boiling water and cook it for a total of 7-10 minutes.

Final Step: Now get the pelmeni out. You can serve it with the butter on top and with soy sauce or any kind of sauce you prefer.
